For this poster, I wanted to show consumerism and it's effects on what we "need" as a society.  Social Media and commercials and ads are things that everyone sees non-stop and over time I think they have changed our values as a society.  Having plump lips, a perfect body, and the nicest clothes are pushed very strongly on social media like Instagram.  People are brainwashed in a sense that they need to have these characteristics for themselves.  Other advertisements for food and drink are widely shown to children and unhealthy fast food, cereals, and soda dominate screens.  Children want and need these sugary treats because they are easily impressionable.  Media makes us need these things and keep needing more.
